Now taking orders for 2025 and beyond, Chicago Performance has announced that the long awaited KTM X-BOW GT-XR is coming to North America, but in a slightly different configuration than in Europe.
Whilst the KTM X-BOW GT-XR is designed for street use in Europe and the rest of the world markets, it will not be street-legal here in the United States. This is due in part to the complexities of achieving US standards when it comes to things like air bags and emissions requirements. These obstacles may yet be overcome in the future, but KTM & Chicago Performance did not want to deter potential track-focused customers any longer.
The result is a slightly adjusted configuration of the car, bearing the new name: the KTM X-BOW GT-XR CLUBSPORT.

It’s aim remains the same as the standard GT-XR found in Europe, with it still being is the closest you can get to a purebred racecar, but in a more approachable platform. The super sportscar is the ideal lightweight and high-performance car for those who want to experience untamed dynamics, radical design and pure enthusiasm.
It was built off of the KTM X-BOW GT2, which shows its strengths with victories and titles on racetracks all over the world. Here, outstanding performance is combined with engineering mastery so that every fiber, every component, every detail of this super sportscar is “READY TO RACE”.
Even at first glance there is no doubt; the KTM X-BOW GT-XR CLUBSPORT is the most uncompromising super sportscar. A declaration of war poured into form. Its exciting design combines outstanding performance with provocative looks.

The focus is on an unmistakable design that relies on clear lines, sharp edges and smooth surfaces – wrapped in a carbon outer skin. From the sharp front end to the low-slung, wide rear arches, and the unique electronic soft-close fighter jet canopy, every component on the KTM X-BOW GT-XR CLUBSPORT radiates it’s only purpose: racing.
Inspired by LMP & GT racecars, every technical detail of the KTM X-BOW GT-XR CLUBSPORT has been developed to deliver absolute performance. An uncompromising driving machine designed for lightweight, aerodynamic efficiency.
At the heart of the machine is the legendary 2.5L, 5-Cylinder engine from Audi AG. Lighter, more compact, more powerful and efficient then comparable engines, with enormous amounts of torque at low revs. This combined with its characteristic tone and turbo noises, makes it the perfect match for the radical KTM X-BOW GT-XR CLUBSPORT, especially when mated to the tried and true seven-speed DSG with a limited-slip differential.

Key standard features that separate the Clubsport from the standard GT-XR include: GT2 Mirrors, track-specific software for the transmission, GTX darkened taillights, on-board fire extinguisher, race exhaust, battery cut-off switch, and front skid wear blocks. Some other street focused items from the GT-XR have been stripped to further focus on weight savings and therefore, on track performance.
A complete list of changes from the standard GT-XR to the GT-XR Clubsport, as well as a detailed overview of the seemingly infinite order options are all available to serious prospects through Chicago Performance. The KTM X-BOW GT-XR Clubsport is now available for pre-order in North America, exclusively for track use only (not registerable or legal for street/highway use). A non-refundable deposit is required to submit an order to the factory, the value of which will be determined off of the configuration of the order.
