This G500 was sold to the first owner in Fremont, CA, January 11, 2004. Regular services, California emissions testing, and original owner care continued through 2012 when the truck was offered for sale through an Idaho dealership, then showing 13,600 miles. The second owner of Kirkland, WA purchased the truck for personal use and continued regular services with Mercedes-Benz Bellevue, Park Place Motors, Kirkland, WA, and Eastside European, WA. In late 2018, minor front-end damage occurred to the front bumper and grille at a stop sign incident. The cosmetic damage was expertly repaired by Eurotech Bodywerkes of Kirkland, WA and the silver metallic finish matched using a digital color paint-match system for factory color and metallic match accuracy. This is confirmed by the paint readings below.

This G500 has also been religiously treated with WoolWax under its current ownership, resulting in the virtually rust free condition. Professionally applied to the complete undercarriage, frame rails and door and body cavities, while the current owner also personally applied it behind every screw hole in the body (side molding strips, side marker lights, turn signals, rear lights), along all welded seams, all hinges and behind all weather stripping (around all windows, sunroof, headlights, etc.). This process was followed again before the second winter as well. The truck remains completely rust free other than a small amount on the rear cargo door hinge. This was present when the truck traded hands in 2022, and has been periodically treated with WoolWax and WD-40. Since then, the rust staining has not worsened.
